On September 1, The Wheel of Time will return to our screens. The Prime Video series, adapted from Robert Jordan’s novels, is a huge hit on the platform in 2021. Season 2, which will explore the universe even more, has been revealed in an epic first trailer.
To recall, in the last episode we found out that the reincarnated dragon was none other than Randy (Joshua Stradowski), just like in the books. The runaway youth becomes the object of desire on both sides. Of good and Aes Sedai, but of evil, with the dark one that was released. And if the trailers are to be believed, Randy is going to flirt with the bad side, Anakin-style.
Of course, all the main characters will return – Maureen (Rosamund Pike) first, along with some new faces. This Season 2 of The Wheel of Time introduces characters from fan-favorite books such as Elaine Trakande, Avienda and Lady Surroth. These new episodes will be based on the second novel, titled La Grande Chasse, and some elements of the third novel.

Prime Video occasionally announces that they will be reviving #WOTWednesdays by releasing exclusive content on social media every Wednesday leading up to the airing of the final episode of the second season.
