Hollywood is on strike! SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), an American professional union representing 160,000 actors and actresses, officially announced a strike on July 13.
It joins a movement launched two months ago by the WGA (Writers Guild of America, Screenwriters Guild of America), which has already tried in vain to reach a new agreement with the AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers).
