Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: Venom is shown in a new trailer

On May 23, Sony Playstation dedicated no less than 15 minutes of its Showcase to its highly anticipated event. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, still being developed by the talented in-house studio Insomniac. It was in this case a rather hair-raising chase sequence in its staging.

Therefore, we were allowed to have a symbiote version of Spider-Man supported by Miles Morales’ version of Spidey, here facing a villain well known to Marvel fans: Kraven. The game will be exclusively solo, so there are no plans for co-op. But there was a bone in that presentation: There was no specific release date, other than a vague “Fall 2023.”

There was a bit of a misunderstanding. And it was primarily an opportunity for Sony to keep a little biscuit in its bag for Summer Game Fest, which took place in early June. Unless a new picture was shown, except for the work in which Craven was involved, it was mostly on stage to open – finally! – Release date: October 20, 2023!

With San Diego Comic Con kicking off this Friday, Insomniac Studios has released a new trailer for the arena where Peter Parker, Miles Morales, MJ, Lizardmen, and of course, Venom are mixing it up. And even a first glimpse of Harry Osborn.

This new trailer is accompanied by a few words written by the game’s narrative director, John Paquette, which has been released playstation blog. “At the beginning of our story, our Spider-Man is at the top of his game. But Peter Parker and Miles Morales are struggling with their personal lives. Miles tries to find time to write his college entrance essays, but he procrastinates and continues to focus on his work as Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, Peter is underwater with the bills on Aunt May’s house, but can’t wait to sell it, it means too much to him. And like Miles, Peter struggles (and fails) to find that balance in the face of so much responsibility.

MJ wants to help Pete with the mortgage, but he has his work cut out for him when J. Jonah Jameson returns to the Daily Bugle looking to clean up. Our heroes have come to a crossroads, with an uncertain future and difficult decisions to make.”
