Gen V: The Boys spin-off series gets a bloody trailer

Gen Vthe series derived from The boysgot a bloody trailer featuring young superheroes in their college years.

In the video we see the routine of the students of the exclusive Godolkin University superhero school. Initially, the protagonist of the series, Marie Moreau, meets her colleagues. Together they will train to be at the top of the ranking of schools that will give better contracts to work in the cities.

The storyline is described as a mixture of “college series” with The Hunger Games in the world of The boys.

Synopsis

“From the universe of The Boys, Gen V is the exciting new series set in America’s only college of heroes. These gifted students push the moral limits to the test, competing for first place in the university rankings and a chance to join the Seven, Vought’s elite team. When the university’s dark secrets come to light, they must decide what kind of heroes they want to be.”

In addition to Jaz Sinclair, the cast of the series includes Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, the Brazilian Marco Pigossi, Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter.

The Boys actors Jessie T. Usher, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie and PJ Byrne will also join the series.

The first three episodes will be released on September 29 on Amazon Prime Video. The remaining episodes will be released weekly until November 3rd. The first season will have eight episodes in total.
