Every week, Nielsen – the famous American institute for audience measurement – provides its report on the top streaming performance in the United States. If we learn that the second season of The Bear, which is expected in mid-August on Disney +, has made a very good breakthrough there, this is another series that has caught our attention.

Suits: Bespoke Lawyers, a legal drama from the USA Network cable channel and which appeared on Netflix and Peacock in the US on June 17, achieved spectacular figures. Indeed, the series that revealed Meghan Markle leads the dance with 2.3 billion minutes watched, with almost half of the viewing attributed to the first season, we learn. Deadline. A very nice figure for a series created by Aaron Korsh and ending in 2019!

According to the institute, this is the first time in four months that a title has crossed the 2 billion minute mark, which was last achieved by The Night Agent, Netflix’s big hit earlier in the year, during the week of March 27 to April 2. And in two years, if we go back to performing Manifest, still on Netflix, in June 2021.

Black Mirror topped the charts last week with 1.5 billion recorded minutes, up 14% from the previous week. But Charlie Brooker’s series couldn’t compete with Suits’ 136 episodes.
