With the decision, the next Panicbecomes the first film in the franchise not to feature Sidney Prescott. So far, the sequel has confirmed Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega in the cast – the survivors in Scream (2022). Hayden Panettiere is also confirmed.
