Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Wednesday August 9, 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Ronan is busy

Early in the morning, Akim returns from his run and overhears an argument between Ludo and Noemi about Ronan’s involvement in the fire.

Akim, knowing that this is the last shot, confronts Noeme a bit later. At the base of the wall, he explains that he had no choice because he couldn’t swing his best friend. Akim then reminds him that he faces up to five years in prison for complicity. Since justice is in the hands of the innocent, he advises him to think about what to do. According to him, he can still prevent the disaster.

At the police station, Akim asks Elisha about the progress of the investigation. Although he finds this information not very reliable, the police officer unfortunately confirms to him that Louis remains their prime suspect.

Meanwhile, Mark is on the phone with Jacques. And what can be said that the journalist went against his father for taking Louis to his former farm. For him, it was Jacques who set fire to the gunpowder. Jacques then asks her not to be in bad faith because he was the one trying to calm her down. Once he apologized, Mark explained that he was worried about his son. Hearing this, Jacques tries to reassure her and urges her to keep her hope.

At the farm, Noemi surprises Ronan, who is packing to escape before the police arrive. When Noemi tries to convince him to give up, Ronan refuses. Even if he never wanted to cause the man’s death, he believes that his payment is not up to him. Crying, Noemi swears that she will always protect him.

At the station, Ian and Alice are analyzing the investigation when Akim interrupts them about the fire. Ronan was arrested immediately after that.

On his way back home, Akim attracts the wrath of Noemi. Although she is furious with him for betraying her, Akim scolds her for blaming a teenager instead of a friend. He could point out that Ronan is facing many years in prison, the cop doesn’t care, and then point out that he only did it to protect him. However, Noemi does not need to be protected, and even more so by the man she loves. He leaves the door in anger.

Father Silvio quickly leaves the hospital

At the hospital, Janet takes advantage of noticing Father Silvio’s constancy to thank him for the playlist. Then they start discussing the latest music trends. Janet, who finds him in good shape, then cheers and tells him that they make a shock couple. The priest will be disturbed by something.

Meanwhile, Hugo enjoys playing basketball with Christophe and talks to him about his research on the florist. It must be said that the doctor went through all the recent disappearances in the region and two cases caught his attention. Indeed, a rugby player accused of several rapes disappeared while leaving a nightclub, and a Chilean disappeared while fishing in the wild. While this amuses Kristoff, Hugo is convinced that the serial killer is expanding his range and he is no longer content to kill killers to cover his tracks.

Not far from there, Father Silvio gets dressed and leaves the hospital. Dr. Alfandi, who disagrees with her decision, asks her to be careful and follow her treatment.

Informed of his departure, Christophe goes to the church to return Father Silvio’s cat. As he tries to figure out why he left the hospital so quickly, the priest replies that he had no choice. Faced with temptation, he needed to recharge his batteries in his church.

At the hospital, Janet has just heard that Father Silvio has been discharged. Distraught, he goes to the church to find out what happened. Uncomfortable, he believed that he could not fulfill his duties with people in great need outside the parish. People who rely on him more as a doctor than as a priest. So Janet offers to help him do as little as possible. An offer he can’t refuse.
