The second season of Heartstopper continues the romantic relationship between Charlie (Joe Locke), a young openly gay introvert, and Nick (Keith Connor), a popular rugby player who questions his sexuality when he gets close to Charlie.

Since Netflix has already renewed the series for Season 3! A month after the release of Season 1 in 2022, the platform announced via a Twitter post with a photo of writer and creator Alyssa Oseman that Heartstopper was getting two additional seasons: Season 2 and Season 3, respectively.
Good news for fans, if the production of the series follows the same process as the previous seasons, we can expect the third season of Heartstopper in late 2024, especially as sources UKCastingNews Filming is expected to begin in October 2023.

Following the logic of Alice Oseman’s novels, the first season covers the first two volumes, while the second season covers the school trip to Paris that takes place in the third volume. This means that season 3 will follow the fourth volume in which Charlie and Nick prepare to go to university.
