Netflix releases the trailer for “BO”, a new comedy series starring Leandro Hassum

Netflix has released the first trailer for “BO,” the first comedy series starring Leandro Hassum, which will be available to stream from September 6th.

The trailer already makes evident the inspiration of the national comedy in a hugely popular crime spoof: the series “Brooklyn 99”. “BO” features a similar premise, showing the backstage of a police station and police chaos.

What is “BO”?

The similarities between “BO” and “Brooklyn 99” are accentuated with the character of Luciana Paes (“Me Chama de Bruna”), who plays a tough and short-tempered policewoman, as well as Agent Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) in the American film series . . Digão Ribeiro (Eduardo and Mônica) is the big cop, in the style of Terry Crews in “Brooklin 99”.

Despite the foreign influences, the Brazilian series has a typical Brazilian humor, especially present in the comic style of Leandro Hassum. This leads us to believe that “BO” has the potential to be the success of other productions of the former Globo actor starring on Netflix, such as the films “Vizinhos” and “Tudo Bem no Natal que Vem”.

“BO” marks Leandro Hassum’s series debut on Netflix and also stars Wonderworker Ferreira (“O Cravo ea Rosa”), Jefferson Schroeder (“Minha Mãe é uma Peça”), Aline Borges (“Pantanal”) and Babu Carreira in the main cast.

After the release of Netflix, the trailer for “BO”, the new comedy series with Leandro Hassum, first appeared on Olhar Digital.
