It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Friday, August 11, 2023 Episode 728 [SPOILERS]

Axel makes a big decision

Thanks to Louie’s lawyer, Claire learns that he is about to be transferred to the Nimmy Detention Center. A judicial investigation will begin. A judge will hold a hearing for Louis, and the police will question his entourage to understand the context. Olivia thinks this will work to the young man’s advantage. Especially since he will also benefit from psychological and psychiatric expertise. However, Claire has a hard time coming to terms with this idea. She is desperate to see her son soon. But Olivia has an idea.

They go to Narbonne together when Louis is about to be transferred. Before he gets into the police car, Claire is allowed to have a word with him. She makes sure her son is okay and supports him wholeheartedly. Touched, Louis tells her he loves her.

Back at the Institute, Claire is confronted by Tessier, who asks about her. But she doesn’t believe his number and accuses him of being responsible for the situation when he was ready to take his son’s place in prison.

In turn, Axel tells Ethan about Aurelien’s proposal. He has to decide today, but he is lost. Her friend thinks she should finish her studies and then get into restaurant management, but admits she’s biased. He asks what Jasmine thinks about it. If he knows, Axel explains, they avoid talking to each other these days.

Axel later tells his uncle about it. Tessier believes he has what it takes to be a great chef if that’s what he really wants. Axel admits that he is. His uncle is proud of him. They embrace each other.

Axel then goes to see Jasmine to tell her his decision. The young girl interprets this as a sign that it is time for them to separate. Both realize that their couple is no longer working. However, they leave on good terms.

Before leaving, Axel walks through the kitchens. His friends gather to surprise him and wish him luck. Even Charlene joins them, overcoming her resentment towards her cousin.

At the end of the day, Emmanuel goes to the kitchen. Using bitter almond extract, she recalls the day Auguste revealed to her that it was his secret ingredient for his cream. On the same day, Auguste announced that he would take over the institute and consider it as his son. Arriving in the kitchen, Clotilde notices the ingredient Emmanuel is using. He realizes that he was not the only one who knew his father’s secret. Emmanuelle teases her and admits that he also knows her secret ingredient for Jocondi biscuits. Amused Clotilde tries to guess.

Enzo gets a golden opportunity

With Theo unable to provide lunch service, Anais asks Enzo to replace him to run the Double A with him. The young man agrees to give the role of pastry chef to his staff to replace Theo.

During the service, Delobeli walks into the kitchen to see Enzo at work. He admires her courage and adaptability. Convinced of his talent, he returns to see her at the end of his shift to tell her that he has chosen her to lead his new street food project. He was giving her a few days to think. Anais, who was in a game with Theo, admires Enzo.

Enzo later tells Vic about it, who is just as happy for him. He remembers that he was ready to give up cooking after the accident. Enzo admits he wouldn’t be here without him. At the same time, he receives a message from his surgeon, who tells him that the entire medical team has agreed to try a new operation. Enzo once again had hope that he would be able to walk again…

Mehdi investigates Hortense

Faced with Mehdi’s doubts, Hortense tells him that she cannot bear to live with him for the rest of her life. Relieved, he offers to go and visit several apartments during the day. But Hortense says she is busy and prefers to postpone the visits until the next day.

A young woman forgets her mobile phone while leaving. While he wants her back, Mehdi discovers a message from Suleiman. He writes that he can’t wait to see Hortense all afternoon, one-on-one with the swamp neighbor.

Mehdi cannot help but lead the investigation. He goes there to spy on Hortense and Suleiman. But he is surprised. Hortense and Suleiman immediately clear up the misunderstanding: the young woman is simply there to help the young man prepare for the institute competition. If she didn’t tell her husband, it was because Suleiman didn’t want to know. Annoyed that Mehdi suspected her of infidelity, Hortense scolds him.
