A McLaren Arthur, worth more than 2 million reais, was destroyed after a collision on the shore of Maceió beach (AL). An app driver was turning onto Av. Álvaro Otacílio when his vehicle was hit by an imported car. According to authorities, a man needed to be rescued after the crash.
The case took place in the Ponta Verde neighborhood on the night of Friday 11 last year. A Sandero, being driven by the app’s driver, was circling when it was hit by McLaren. The driver of the imported car lost control and crashed into concrete obstacles bordering the roadway.
The McLaren travels a few more meters until it stops in front of an apartment building. Populars filmed the car after the crash and the images show the damage to the vehicle, which lost one of its wheels after the collision, and is valued at R$2,222,810, according to the FIPE table.
Firefighters were called in to assist a 46-year-old man, who was in the app’s car, and was injured after the crash. According to the authorities, the victim suffered a cut on his forehead and complained of neck pain.
