James Bond: Gal Gadot doesn’t want to play 007: ‘There’s more room for films starring women’

After starring in Agent Stone, Gal Gadot was asked if she would like to play a female version of the most famous spy in the world

The little girl in me always wanted to play one, and I think after the success of Wonder Woman that’s when I realized, ‘Wait a second, there’s an audience for this, where it’s starring women.’

“There’s more room for female-led films in the genre, and that’s what gave yaron [Varsano] and me, whose husband and partner, the drive to move forward and develop ourselves,” continued Gal Gadot. “The action, the twists, the scope, the drama, I love everything about these movies and I’m so happy we get to share Agent Stone like you.”
