How to set up Chromecast on your TV
You can configure the key using the Google Home app with a signed-in Google Account. Remembering that both the mobile and the Chromecast must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Download and install Google Home (Android | iOS);
- Select the desired Google account and tap “OK”;
- Turn on Bluetooth and enable access to mobile location;
- Tap “Devices” on the bottom bar;
- Tap the “Add device” button;
- Select “New device”;
- Choose the desired house and tap “Next”;
- Tap “Yes” when the app finds the Chromecast;
- Tap “Connect” to connect Chromecast to the app;
- Tap “Yes” if the TV code is the same as the app code;
- Select the location where your Chromecast is located and tap “Next”;
- Select the desired Wi-Fi network and tap “Next”;
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap “Continue”;
- Reselect your Wi-Fi network and tap “Done.”


Ok, now all you have to do is use your mobile, tablet or computer to stream content to television. By the way, it’s worth noting that Chromecast is only compatible with TVs – you can’t do the same procedure by plugging the key on a computer or notebook, for example.
