After seven years in Gaumont’s development department, Victor Saint-Macary decided to go into directing. It begins with a short film titled father in lawUntil the full-length game in 2018 with Ami-Ami.

The aspiring filmmaker is inspired by the years he spent with his best friend when they were in their twenties, and especially the surprise of those around them at their unique friendship. At the instigation of his producer Pierre Guyard, Victor Saint-Macard digs into this path and questions the friendship between men and women through the story of Vincent and Neffel.

The first is devastated by her recent breakup, the second is a crazy young lawyer. Both swear that they will never fall in love again, that they will live only by friendship and one-night stands. But after a few weeks of friendly and festive cohabitation, Vincent meets Julie…

In this way, Victor Saint Maccar presents a film in keeping with the times, which has all the qualities of a romantic comedy that is funny and sensitive: modern staging, sharp dialogues and above all an attractive cast. Actor William Lebgill, discovered by the series Soda, makes his first film role here, alongside Margot Bancillon and Camille Razat, with whom he forms an irresistible trio.
