The departures follow one another this summer, much to the dismay of fans of the TF1 cooking series This Is Where It All Begins.
Last month, This Is Where It All Begins saw Elliott (Nicolas Anselmo) and Gregg (Mikael Mittelstadt) say goodbye to fans as they tied the knot in front of their friends and loved ones before jetting off to their new lives.
Two “expected” departures that closed a three-year love story like no other in style, and which was followed last week by two more, much more surprising exits on the side of Calvier and the Auguste Armani Institute.
At the end of Armand’s clan-centric Summer Ark , which revealed that Auguste (Francis Huster, returning in flashbacks for this occasion in the series) was actually killed by Louis (Fabian Wolfrom), his son, the latter. He reported himself to the Gendarmerie and was arrested.
While Axel (Thomas Da Costa), recently separated from Jasmine (Zoe Severin), made the choice in Friday’s August 11 episode to leave the institute and take over Lucia, the restaurant he secretly bequeathed to Augustus. This marked the character’s last appearance on screen. At least for now.
Will we see Louis again here?
Doubly important, this is where it all begins The August 11 episode also marked Fabian Wolfrom’s final appearance as Louis Guinot. And if the actor, who has been in the series since its release in November 2020, did not express himself on social networks, unlike Thomas da Costa, who officially confirmed his departure on Instagram, he already indicated that he intended to leave the filming. Here it all begins in an interview he gave us last March:
“Everything starts from here, it was great, I made a lot of friends. I learned things, I didn’t learn things… There are many advantages to playing in everyday life. But there are also some disadvantages, which are the time and the time. The energy that it requires. I want to expand My horizons geographically, physically and scripturally. I had a lot of fun playing this character. Now you have to look a little bit elsewhere.”.
One thing is certain for now: Louis Guino will definitely spend time in prison for killing his father. But does that mean Fabian Wolfrom is gone for good? Or can we hope to see him back in the series one day?
“He’s a character who will return to Here It All Begins.”Sara Farahmandi, the producer of the series, claims when asked about the future of Louis. “Louis’ life today is no longer just at the Institute, but we’re definitely not talking about the starting ark. It’s like Michael Mittelstadt back at Greg and Elliot’s wedding.”he continues at our microphone.
“Louise’s dream will always be to have the Auguste Armand Institute. Which we saw in this summer’s Ark, because it’s so hard for her to see that Axel inherited something from his father when he had nothing. The Institute, he’s going to cling to it. And then there’s always his mother in the series, so That even if he’s not there all his life today, we know he’ll be back.”.
The fourth season promises to be rich with new characters
Even if the door is open for Louis to return one day, his departure remains a blow to fans and the series.
But luckily, to fill the void left by this big wave of departures, which should continue this week with Theo and Charlene, the producers and writers have thought of everything and have a new promo for the start of school. More students with new faces than ever before!
Along with Maya (Alexandra Faval) and Leonard (Thomas Villani), who were already introduced a few weeks ago, TF1 viewers will thus meet Jim Leroy (Loans Beckmont), Thibaut’s (Félix Paco) half-brother, Berenice (Bérénice Tannenberg). – Constance Teissier, the sister of Carla (Aaricia Lemery) or even Malik (Oscar Al Hafiane), a young cook who does not come to the institute by chance and connects with another character in an unexpected way.
A host of new characters will be added to Souleymane and Thibault, who will also join the Institute and which we will be able to discover on screen from Friday 25 August. Appointment accepted.
It all starts here, runs Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on TF1.
