Tom Hanks Invites Austin Butler To Appear In Apple TV+ Miniseries
Tom Hanks was so impressed with the commitment of Austin Butler in Elvis (2022)a film they worked on together, which invited him to be part of the new miniseries Masters of the Air. “You got so immersed in elvis that for your mental health it would be smart to get into something new,” butler remember the conversation you had with hanks at a dinner. “If you just jump off the train, you could have an emotional breakdown… And, you know, I have this new series I’m producing…”, the interpreter of Forrest Gump would have added.
austin stated that he only started to get rid of the accent of Elvis Presley in February of this year, and the film was released in June 2022. He was preparing for the role in Dune: Part 2which premieres in Brazilian theaters on November 2.
“That’s what I noticed doing elvis: that forced me to go to the extreme of what is possible, and not every experience will be like that”, said butler to the The Sunday Times (via People). The actor was nominated for oscar in the Best Actor category. Although he did not win the award, he received a Golden Globe for his performance in the film directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Masters of the Airs, from Apple TV+, follows the 100th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II (1939-1945). In addition to hanksthe production has Steven Spielberg.
