“House of the Dragon” arrived with high expectations last year – after all, it is not easy to succeed with “Game Of Thrones“, one of the most impactful series in pop culture in recent years. The venture was successful and garnered eight Emmy nominations, considered TV’s Oscars, as well as acclaim from the public. However, according to director Clare Kilner, the second season will have fewer episodes, but will be even more frenetic and surprising.
Fewest episodes in House of the Dragon
In an interview with The Hollywood ReporterClare Kilner, who directed three of the first season’s 10 episodes, revealed that the “House of the Dragon” sequel will have “eight wonderful episodes, with lots going on in each one.”
Sometimes we have difficulty reducing them [os episódios] for one hour. Ryan’s decision [Condal, showrunner da série] it was a good opening episode and a good ending, and the intervening chapters are full of emotional and visually compelling events.

He said the latter sequence took 10 days to film and that the dance was inspired by the movements of the birds.
