Played by Jared Leto, Suicide Squad Joker (2016) is one of the most criticized points of the film
Even with a great box office (approximately US$ 746 million collected worldwide), Suicide squad (2016) was a failure with the public, in addition to having some questionable aesthetic decisions. In fact, one of the director’s biggest regrets David Ayer involves jokerplayed by Jared Leto.
On Twitter, an internet user wrote how he thinks Ayer had an idea to put tattoos on the villain, but the filmmaker blames it on the studio’s decision, Warner Bros.. However, he denied the theory and made a self-criticism.
“I own the tattoo idea 100%. It was my choice. The original idea was to say ‘blessed‘ (Blessed) and not ‘damaged‘ [Danificado, na testa do Coringa],” he wrote. “Now, having said that – I regret this decision. It created acrimony and division. Not every idea is a good idea. And I’ll be here in the corner while the internet beats me for this post.”
I own the tattoo idea 100%
It was my choice. Original idea is it would say “Blessed” and not “Damaged”
Now having said that — I regret that decision. It created acrimony and division.
Not every idea is a good idea.
And I’ll just be in the corner here while the internet… https://t.co/8no7KQy1Oe
