The 51st Gramado Film Festival ended on the night of this Saturday 19 August. In 2023, the event highlighted the tributes to Laura Cardoso and Léa Garcia (who passed away during the festival, in Gramado, at the age of 90). Silvio Guindane’s feature film, ‘Mussum – O Filmis’, was one of the highlights of the evening and brought home six Kikitos trophies.
In addition to Best Film, the feature film which tells the story of Antônio Carlos Bernardes, was awarded Best Film by the Popular Jury, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Soundtrack and Honorable Mention.
In second place, as the most awarded in this edition, was ‘Tia Virgínia’, directed by Fábio Meira, which amassed a total of six trophies. And thirdly, the feature film ‘More Heavy is Heaven’, by Petrus Cariri, awarded with four prizes.
