Fanhome (ComingSoon) indeed announced on Friday that it will release a scale model of the iconic DeLorean DMC-12, the car that Marty (Michael J. Fox) and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) use as a time machine. The cult film franchise, Back to the Future.
The 1:8 scale, snap-together, bolt-on model has several assembly steps. The Speedster measures approximately 56cm long and is fully customized with ‘butterfly’ doors, opening trunk, illuminated dashboard, headlights, brake lights and interior lights that really shine.

French Saga fans will have to wait until they can purchase this little wonder, as Fanhome currently only ships to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. In these countries, those who want to purchase the model must subscribe to the company’s service, subscribers will receive a monthly package that includes several stages of the ordered project.
Thus, the first package contains the first two steps of assembly, and the second contains four: all subsequent packages contain five steps. Each package also comes with a detailed book containing instructions for building the model, as well as trivia, interviews with the cast and crew. Back to the futureand more.
Fans will also receive a variety of goodies for the duration of their subscription, including a copy of the “OUTTA TIME” license plate, a t-shirt, a magazine binder and three posters. A premium subscription is also available, which includes a special base for displaying the car.
