Chapter 185 – Monday August 21st
Bartimaeus discovers that Jesus will be crucified and fulfills the purpose of the nails he makes. Roman soldiers tear off Jesus’ garments. Anguished, Joana leaves the palace. Many people return to Golgotha, repentant for not having recognized the Son of God. Pilate authorizes the burial of Jesus. The Messiah is taken down from the cross. Mary finishes covering her Son with a white linen cloth. The mournful procession of Jesus makes its way through the landscape of Golgotha.
Chapter 187 – Wednesday August 23rd
Jesus is buried. Terentius and Longinus place a Roman seal on the cord that seals the tombstone. They put clay mass between the stone and the wall. The earth begins to shake and the tombs open. Holy dead who slept resurrect. Goy and the publican’s son are walking. Terence and Longinus are terrified. They see Gabriel in the form of an angel sitting on the stone that covered the tomb. Barrabas is terrified to see the publican’s son alive. Livona sees Adela and despairs. Caiaphas runs home, terrified, when she sees Levi.

Joana and Helena go to the apostles and say they are at risk. They warn that Caiaphas caused the disciples to be persecuted by the Romans. Petronius goes to Caiaphas’ house to speak with Longinus and Terence. The Messiah appears to Cleopas and the Zealot, but they do not recognize him.
Chapter 189 – Friday August 25th
Christ is saddened by the lack of faith of Cleopas and Zealot. Petronius asks Longinus and Terencio to find the body of Jesus. The Messiah reveals himself to Cleopas and the Zealot. Petronius orders the arrest of all who walked with Jesus. Petronius asks a Roman soldier to follow in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene.
Pedro sees the Master in Siloé’s tank. Maria Madalena realizes she is being followed. Tiago Justus sees the Son of God and falls to his knees, moved. Peter, Cleopas and Zealot claim to have seen the Messiah. Madalena asks Edissa to help her hide.
