Apocalypse Now: Where was Francis Ford Coppola’s movie filmed?

One of the classics of the acclaimed career of Francis Ford Coppola which had extensive and controversial footage, Apocalypse Now is situated during Vietnam Warin 1970, but the production team did not land in the Asian country.

Where Apocalypse Now was it filmed?

It is worth remembering how the filming of the production took a long time and the budget was much higher than expected. Because of these obstacles, Apocalypse Now it took 238 days to complete filming, which took place in several cities in the Philippines, a country in Asia.

As Screen Rant recalled, the main filming took place on the island of Luzon, such as the battle scenes, Vietnamese setting and even parts with surfing. Zambales province appears in the medical evacuation parts, but the film faced problems due to the typhoon olgafurther contributing to delays.
