Bradley Cooper wore a prosthetic nose to play Leonard Bernstein in ‘Maestro’
The Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish organization, came to the defense of Bradley Cooper after the actor was accused of anti-Semitism. In Conductorthe actor plays Leonard Bernstein and wears a prosthetic nose to make it bigger and take on an even more composer-like appearance.
“Throughout history, Jews have often been portrayed in anti-Semitic films and advertisements as bad figures with big noses. This film, which is a biopic about legendary conductor Leonard Bernstein, is not the case,” the League said.
