The Fifa appointment for the World Cup is over. Corinthians beat Pinda’s team 5-0 on Monday night, for the ninth round of the Paulista women’s championship. The match was played at the Fazendinha Stadium, in São Paulo.
The first goal for Brabas was scored after seven minutes of play, with Yasmin, who took advantage of a corner kick taken by Diany. In the 14th minute, Timão doubles through Tamires, who completes the rebound from Fernanda’s shot.
In the second half, Corinthians turned victory into a rout. In the 31st minute Miriã scored the third goal for Arthur Elias’ team after a slide by the opposing defender. Just before the end of the game, Vic Albuquerque scored, deflecting Isabela’s header.

The fifth and last goal for Corinthians was scored by midfielder Duda Sampaio, who scored from outside the area with force, without any chances for the opposing goalkeeper.
With the defeat, Corinthians isolated themselves even more in the leadership of Paulista, with 25 points won in nine games played. The Brabas’ next duel will be against Santos, in Vila Belmiro, for the first leg of the Brazilian category semi-final. The ball rolls at 10:30 (Brasilia time), Sunday (27).
