Norman Reedus will star in Daryl Dixon’s spin-off horror series The Walking Dead on September 10. In this new adventure, the program’s titular hero travels to France to face new enemies, including an all-new form of zombie!
“These zombies have evolved to the point that if they touch you or bite you, or their blood infects you, you will be severely burned” Greg Nicotero revealed during this interview, adding that this is a new aspect “will change all the rules of survival”. Pyromaniac zombies, this is truly unheard of in the genre!
Last spring, the first spin-off called Dead City brought Maggie and Negan together. This unlikely duo is set to infiltrate the beleaguered island of Manhattan to end the gang’s reign of terror led by Croat, a former member of the Saviors Clan once led by Negan.
A third spin-off will also be released in 2024. Titled The Ones Who Live, this miniseries about the duo Rick Grimes and Michonne was originally created as a trilogy of films. But in the end, the epilogue of the story of the sheriff played by Andrew Lincoln will be televised.
Although Daryl Dixon’s series will air in the US on AMC from September 10, there is still uncertainty in France, as the program does not yet have an official broadcaster!
