Five SUVs are battling for the sales lead in August and all have approximately 3,000 units sold
The Chevrolet Tracker took the sales lead in the SUV segment in August. It has overtaken the Hyundai Creta and is winning the “battle of the 3,000”. According to Fenabrave, the top 5 best-selling SUVs have approximately 3,000 licensed units.
The Chevrolet Tracker appears in 1st place with 3,959. GM’s SUV overtook the Hyundai Creta, which had been leading the month’s sales battle and is now in 2nd place with 3,397. Read the Chevrolet Tracker review here.
3rd place is for the Honda HR-V with 3,308. It is the first time that the new generation HR-V appears among the leaders of the SUV segment.
The best-selling SUV in July, the Volkswagen T-Cross, dropped to 4th place with 3,120 units. In 5th place, closing the “battle of the 3,000”, appears the Jeep Compass with 3,083. The Compass is the only one of the 5 that belongs to the C-SUV (medium) category; the others are in the B-SUV (compact) category.
