Xamã auditioned to participate in the upcoming TV Globo remake. According to the Extra newspaper of this Tuesday (22/8), the rapper would be trying out for the role of Damião, character who revealed Jackson Antunes and turned him into a sex symbol in the soap opera “Renascer”.
If approved, the singer will be able to share romantic scenes with Sophie Charlotte. The actress is quoted for the role of Eliana, played by Patrícia Pillar in the original 1993 version. Recordings should start in October of this year.
The remake of “Renascer” is scheduled for release in January 2024.

It is worth mentioning that Xamã starred in the second season, still unreleased, of “Justice”, the Globo miniseries that weaves together moral values, dilemmas and crimes that happened on the same night.
In the plot, which will begin in October, the artist plays Naldinho, the criminal accomplice of Milena (Nanda Costa). In the first scene, Shaman meets “the princess of the locks” and other friends before committing an armed robbery of a luxury house.
But it wasn’t the first time he took risks in a Globo production. Last year, the rapper made a brief appearance in the soap opera ‘Travessia’, but as himself, in a fictional show singing ‘Malvadão 3’.
