The Hunger Games: Which French singer talks to Jennifer Lawrence in one of the films of the saga?

If you’ve seen The Hunger Games – Mockingjay: Part 2, the fourth part of the famous SF saga adapted from the Susan Collins novels, then you might have noticed the screen presence of John’s son, David Halliday. Because yes, the French singer makes a brief appearance in the film, where he even has the privilege of talking to Katniss Everdeen, the heroine played by Jennifer Lawrence!

David Halliday has less than 10 seconds on screen in The Hunger Games 4. The singer appears exactly after 1:40 of the film: we find him in the shoes of the guard of Panem, looking at the front door of the White Rose greenhouse, in which President Coriolanus Snow (Donald Sutherland) is locked. His character, when he sees Katniss arriving, tells her he can’t let her in. Proof below!

The scene in which David Halliday is illustrated was shot in France at the Chateau de Voisin, located in the town of Saint-Hilarion in Yvelines. The building is regularly used as a filming location, mainly for French productions, in particular the hugely popular success of 2018. But the building, which consequently seduced the Hollywood teams of Hunger Games 4 as well.

It should be noted that for David Halliday this experience is not the first across the Atlantic Ocean! The French singer actually starred in the American comedy He’s My Girl, which was released in theaters in 1987.

On screen, David Halliday also made a name for himself in his role as Michel Blanc’s Gros Fatigue and voiced the main character of the Disney animated film Treasure Planet, New World. Finally, note that he recently filmed an episode of Captain Marlowe, a detective series directed by Corinne Masiero and airing on France 2.
