Charlize Theron struggled to get back to her usual weight after gaining more than 20 kilos for the role
Charlize Theron confessed that he does not intend to make any other extreme transformations in his body. In an interview with Allure (via Variety), the actress recalled her roles in Monster – Killing Desire (2003)is at Tully (2018). “I’m never going to do a movie again and say, ‘I’m going to gain 40 pounds,'” he said.
The reason for choosing would be your own body’s current metabolism. theron gained about 30 pounds to play Aileen Wuornos in the biopic directed by Patty Jenkins. “I lost like 13 kilos overnight,” she said, adding that she managed to get back to her weight quickly.

[…] I was slapped in the face by being hit with depression. Yes, for the first time in my life, I was eating a lot of processed food and drinking a lot of sugar.”
To lose the weight she achieved for the feature film, the artist, however, faced difficulties. “I called my doctor and said, ‘I think I’m dying because I can’t lose this weight,’ and he said, ‘You’re past 40. Calm down. Your metabolism isn’t what it used to be.’ ,” he revealed.
The beginning of the process, in the experience of theron, it wasn’t too bad since she felt free to eat whatever she wanted. “The first three weeks are always fun because you’re like a kid in the candy store,” she said. After the period, though, gaining weight became “a job”: “I remember having to set the alarm for the middle of the night instead of just keeping the weight off. I would literally wake up at two in the morning and eat a pasta with cheese that lay next to me. I would wake up and just eat… I would just shove food down my throat. It’s hard to maintain that weight.”
After recordings, charlize surprised audiences at press interviews and red carpets by showing up at the new weight. “When the first pictures came out, everyone thought they were prosthetics”, recalled the Furiosa interpreter in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).
“More than my face, I wanted to have the body of my 25 year old, which I could throw against the wall without feeling pain. Now, if I don’t work out for three days and don’t go back to the gym, I can’t walk. I can’t walk. sit in the bathroom,” compared the actress.
