Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Thursday August 24, 2023 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Tom takes his first steps in high school and befriends Achilles

It’s back to school day. Tommy is stressed, he explains to Virgil that he doesn’t want to go to school and waste time. He prefers to work and earn a living. Virgil reminds him of the importance of education and asks him to go to high school as planned. He then lends his bike to the teenager so he can ride to class.

When he arrives at high school, Tom seems to catch Thais’ eye. Then she meets Achilles. Two teenagers realize that they are in the same class. Later, Achilles and Tom discuss their schedules. A student of their class should not interfere in their conversation. Tom is aloof, not looking too excited about this return to school.

At the end of the day, Tom is about to return home when he realizes that his bike has derailed. Achille thinks he’ll make amends by inviting his new friend to come over to his house. Tom then discovers Achilles’ home and world. When Tom learns that Achilles’ parents are veterinarians and magistrates, he realizes that they have money. Achilles then manages to fix Tom’s bike. She invites him to stay for dinner, but Tom declines the offer. We still perceive that complicity is born between them.

Later, Tom is with Stan and collects the drugs, Buddha Blue. Stan hands Tom a phone that has a special app installed to add contacts. Tom claims that he will try to make contacts in high school. Stan insists that he won’t have to go through the text messages, but only through this app so he doesn’t leave a trace.

Manu and Hugo lead a new investigation. The teenager had a heart attack and firefighters could not revive him. The police found a blue bottle of Buddha in his belongings. Of course, it was this drug that caused his death. The teenager was only 14 years old, Manu is appalled.

Margot interrupts Ludo

Claudine is with Elisabeth, François and Milo. He offers his clients the image restoration of the property company Home F34 and the law firm. He already has an idea that will allow them to achieve this, but adds that they will have to make some sacrifices.

Claudine calls Margot and tries to calm things down with her. The lawyer admits that their relationship has been strained for some time, he wants them to overcome this situation. He believes that they work as a team and should be united, especially in these difficult times. Margot asks what she expects from him. Claudine then asks her to arrange a meeting with Noemi and Ludo, then adds that she needs to talk to him about the association.

After receiving a call from Margo, Ludo and Noemi go to practice. They are greeted by a young woman who is very far away from them. Noemi sees that there is tension. Claudine then takes Ludo and Noem into her office and tells them she wants to talk about the misunderstanding between them and the donors. He wants to start over with a healthy foundation. But, for Ludo, everything is quite clear: their interests are not the same as the interests of donors.

However, Claudine believes that they can find a common language. He informs them that the real estate company is willing to make a donation of 100,000 euros, renewable annually for five years. He adds that Home F34 also undertakes to use their expertise for any new project and that Milo offers to clear the soil of the industrial site that they want to turn into a natural park. Confused, Ludo asks the lawyer what they will have to do in return. Claudine replies that the idea is for the association to communicate about the partnership as soon as possible to highlight it to their customers.

After leaving the office, Noemi and Ludo discuss Claudine’s proposal. They understand that it serves their interests. Noemi asks Margo for her opinion, but she doesn’t answer. Ludo offers the three of them a drink. A tensed Margo refuses and asks Ludo to speak face to face.

As soon as Noemi leaves, Margot tells Ludo that it’s over between them. He is convinced that he still loves Noemi. Ludo assures her that he is wrong, but Margot asks him to stop hiding his face. Ludo insists, he swears he wants to live with her. But Margot no longer believes. He adds that he was so sick that he slept with Akim and it was his recent behavior that made him do such a thing.

A shocked Ludo asks his companion if she is leaving him in Akim. Margot replies that she isn’t, but a one-night stand with Akeem made her realize that the problem wasn’t her. He then advises Ludo to find Noemi and be happy with her, then leaves.
