The team secured their first league win

Al-Nassr beat Al-Fateh, away from home, 5-0 on Friday. The match, valid for the third round of the Saudi Championship, saw goals from Mané (twice) and Cristiano Ronaldo (three times). These are the team’s first points in the competition.
Al-Nassr started to control the game, but without hitting the opponent’s goal. Everything started to go right halfway through the first half. At 25, goalkeeper Rinne saved a good chance from Cristiano Ronaldo. And two minutes later, Mané opened the scoring on a back-heel pass from the Portuguese star. At 38, Robozão made his mark. Alone in the small area, he headed into the back of the net after a nice cross.
In the second phase, the visitors weren’t satisfied with a 2-0 win and always looked for the goal. At 55, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second goal in the match. Ghareeb was the one who left the Portuguese with no goalkeeper to push into the net. Al-Fateh had a great opportunity in the 64th minute, but Zelarayan sent it over Alaqidi’s goal.
With the game more defined, the pace has slowed down. The home team started to have more chances, but nothing affected Al-Nassr’s dominance. In the 81st minute Mané, who had played badly, doubled his lead after another nice cross.
There is still time for Feras, number 9 of Al-Fateh, to waste a great opportunity in the small area. And at 86, Robozão scored his third goal completing a great performance. The 5-0 guaranteed the team and the CR7 company the exit from the last Saudi positions.
Al-Nassr will face Al-Shabab next Tuesday (29th), at 3pm, for the Saudi championship. Al Fateh will face Dhamk on the same day but at 12:00.
