But Fairfax’s main advantage lies in its dual question: viewers can laugh as much about the characters and situations as they did at the time and its shortcomings. Through its codes and vocabulary, the series speaks of Generation Z being the first. But he can also reach an older audience, certainly less knowledgeable, but with enough perspective to laugh at a teenager’s concerns.
