Britney Spears’ ex-husband was arrested for violating the singer’s marriage

Britney Spears’ wedding to fiancé Sam Asghari was interrupted this Thursday (September 6) by the pop star’s ex-husband, Jason Alexander, who tried to invade the ceremony to broadcast the ceremony live on Facebook. The information was confirmed by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office to the US press.

Sergeant Cyrus Zadeh said officers were sent to Spears’ home to investigate a burglary report, during which they questioned Alexander’s presence. After performing a log check, an arrest warrant was found against him and he was arrested from the ceremony.

The singer married her childhood friend Alexander in 2004. They married for a total of 55 hours before canceling their marriage.

The marriage with Asghari is the third for the singer, also married to Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children.

Neither Federline nor his children attended the ceremony, which was reserved for the couple’s closest friends. But he and the children (already teenagers) made their wishes. Britney’s family, with whom she fought in court, were expressly barred from participating, with the exception of her brother Bryan.

Britney Spears announced her engagement in September, just before she was released from a 13-year ward that prevented her from making her own decisions.

He met Asghari on the set of his music video for “Slumber Party”, which was released in 2016. In a 2017 radio interview he said he thought, “This guy is really cute, I’ll call him”, while adding that “is a very funny and funny person”.
