Post Malone ended the first night of The Town by thanking the crowd for waiting for his set in the rain and cold, and managed to keep the remaining crowd going with his rap phase hits, “Better Now” , “Wow” and “Zack and Codeine” – accompanied by a full band, unlike the other times he came to Brazil.
However, it was clear that the Demi Lovato concert, which preceded it, lifted the audience even more, especially during the surprise appearance of Luísa Sonza. Comments on social networks make it clear that the American singer’s show was worth facing the perrengues of the festival.
Nothing was duller than Iggy Azalea’s protocol show, even with danceable hits. The funk gang, MC Hariel with MC Ryan SP and MC Cabelinho was also livelier at 4pm.
Strengths
In general, the best moments of the festival are owed to the Brazilians, such as the pairing between Crioulo and Planet Hemp, and the historic show of the Racionais MC’s with the Orquestra Sinfônica de Heliópolis. Both took place on stage The One rather than the main stage at the Skyline.
Negative points
The worst moments were many, from torrential rains to various perrengues, such as transport problems, disorganization, gigantic queues, mud, elitism and exorbitant prices for everything. Many complaints were also received about the stage layout, which was too high and with barely visible screens.
