He was almost unknown to the general public before, but his name is now on the lips of every fan of the Netflix One Piece series! In the live-action adaptation of the popular manga, Taz Skylar lends his features to Sanji, a member of the Straw Hat crew’s cook, Monkey D. Led by Luffy.
Originally from Tenerife (Spain), he landed in England when he was only four years old, where he quickly took his first steps as an actor in the theater. appeared in the series Reserves (for which he also wrote several episodes), he became known to moviegoers for his role in The Chef, a feature film shot behind the scenes in a restaurant kitchen.
As well as appearing in a small role in The Lazarus Project, Taz Skylar will soon appear in a TV sequel to Boiling Point, this time as chef’s assistant Carly, and soon to be broadcast by the BBC. But of course, thanks to the One Piece series, the comedian gained international fame for his convincing portrayal of Sanji.
