A large fire hit the Caminho São José community, at the Rádio Clube, in saintson the coast of St. Paul, on the night of this Monday 4. According to the fire brigade, many wooden houses were burned and the victims who inhaled smoke were rescued and assisted by SAMU. There were no casualty records.

The incident, which began around 10.30 pm, involved a fire that spread around Rua do Caminho São José, 616. Fiera, 5. According to the firefighters, the fire was extinguished in the early hours of the day.
The mayor of Santos Rogerio Santos (PSDB), was on site monitoring progress closely and on social media, said he would help families in an “urgent and providential way”.
“We are preparing the UME Pedro Crescenti, at the Rádio Clube, to assist homeless families,” he said.
According to the town hall, a donation program is also being organized for the affected families. Items such as clothes, water and hygiene products have been requested and can be delivered to UME Pedro Crescenti, Av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima, s/n, Rádio Clube, a Dale Coutinho, a Rua Fausto Felício Bruzarosco, s/n , Castelo and Social Solidarity Fund, Av. Conselheiro Nebias, 388, Paquetá.
