Tom (Matteo Paitelli) had no choice but to turn to drugs to help his gambling-addicted mother financially. If until now the teenager had been running his small business without incident, the Montpelier police finally found the goods he kept in one of the lockers at Flaubert High School.
Losing €6,000 worth of merchandise, Tom had little doubt that it would lead him to betray Virgil (Fred Bianconi) to pay back Yannis (Teddy Candela), his supplier. Tom doesn’t have the necessary money, so he leaves one of Virgil’s sailboats in Janis’s hands without talking to the boss. Of course, things go wrong and Virgil discovers the truth.
And if the latter had thought of getting Tom back on track before then, this new betrayal could be the last straw…
In The transcript is available on the France.tv platform, Virgil is angry with Tom. Indeed, he had just told her the truth about the drug deal and the sailboat he gave Yannis.
An angry Virgil lectures him. “I also need money, so I’m not going to sell drugs“, he begins before continuing,”I’m not joking. And Sailboat, you could have warned me instead of taking the f**k away. Do not you believe ?“.
When Tom assures us that he’d like to do it but doesn’t dare, Virgil points out that it hasn’t stopped him from selling drugs to “kids” who end up in hospitals or morgues.
At worst, Tom replies that he didn’t want to disappoint her. Unfortunately, this is too much for Virgil. “Not only did you disappoint me, but you also betrayed me. I trusted you. You know what ? In fact, I should go to the cops and throw it all at them“.
While Tom tries to figure out if he’s really going to do this, Virgil replies that it might allow him to take the action he just did. So that he stops clinging to nonsense for money.
When Tommy tells him that he only did it for his mother, who was still running away from his addiction, Virgil is taken aback and reminds him that he is doing everything he can to help them come into their lives.
Tom, who knows this well, finally tells Virgil:I know, but you have to help me here. I do not know what to do…“
