Sthefany Brito vents after being run over by Kayky Brito: “Arguing a lot”

Sthefany Brito made a strong rant on Monday (9/4) regarding his brother Kayky Brito being run over. The actress thanked for all of her support and tried to hold back her tears on her Instagram account.

“I’ve been trying to come here many times, I’ve tried to come here many times and I couldn’t talk, except cry. But I couldn’t stop coming here to thank you for all the prayers, all the support, all the positive energy from my brother,” said the artist.

“Let’s just thank God that he’s alive, that he’s here! It could be a lot worse, so we just have gratitude in our hearts. He’s a warrior, he’s fighting a lot, in God’s time and in God’s time he, we’ll bring him back.” A thousand thanks!”

Kayky Brito accident

Kayky Brito was run over on Saturday morning (2/8) on Avenida Lucio Costa, in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro. The 34-year-old actor suffered multiple trauma and traumatic brain injury.

Also on Monday (9/4), a new medical bulletin reports that Kayky Brito is still in serious condition after undergoing surgery to treat the fractures sustained following the accident.

“The Copa D’Or Hospital informs that the patient Kayky Fernandes Brito remains sedated, on mechanical ventilation and under the care of the assistant team of the intensive care unit. Today the fracture of the pelvis and right upper limb was repaired with success,” the document states.

The incident with the actor comes about a month after his parents were also victims of a car accident.
