Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Wednesday 6 September 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

VIRGILE injures his wrist

At Virgil’s bachelor party, Manu takes him rock climbing in nature. And as much as it should be said that the policeman has prepared a small evolutionary program for him.

Meanwhile, Tom tells Achilles that he has found a way out of this impasse. With his friend unable to say anything, Achill fears that he will get into more trouble, but Tom assures him that he can handle the situation.

Later, Tom asks Noura out on a date this weekend. Uncomfortable, the young woman tells him that she likes him, but as a friend. Disappointment for a teenager.

Not far from there, Tom arrives at the marina and gives Yanis the keys to the boat. He then sees two men get in with the delivery man. After joining Stan, he tells him how guilty he feels about betraying Virgil. As soon as this story is over, Tom is going to stop being silly.

In turn, Manu and Virgil climb the wall. Happy, the two friends take pictures to immortalize the moment. Towards the end of the climb, Virgil experiences some difficulties and ends up with an injured wrist. Fearing a fracture, the policeman cuts them off for the day and then takes them to the hospital for x-rays.

Dimitri is placed in custody

At the police station, Commissioner Becker meets Mr. Mallard. Indeed, the latter insisted on speaking with him specifically. It was during the interrogation that Supervisor Becker found out that his son-in-law had extorted money from him in exchange for his dismissal. So Superintendent Becker leaves the interrogation room without saying a word, and then calls Dimitri to meet him at the police station.

When he arrives at his stepfather’s office, Alex is present. Without beating around the bush, Commissioner Becker asks if the name Francis Mallard means anything to him. After confirming, Dimitri is quick to add that Sabine doesn’t know anything and that she did it for him. Dimitri really failed to offer Sabine the house of her dreams. And because he did not want to appear defeated in his eyes, he preferred to extort money. Admitting that he should never have done such a thing, Dimitri asks his stepfather to put the whole story behind him and start over. After he laughs, Becker realizes the seriousness of the situation.

He then calls Prosecutor Bernier to inform him of the situation. The latter specifies that he will start an investigation and charge Dimitri with extortion. Mallard will appear before a judge.

At the end of the day, Sabine goes to her father. Uncomfortable, he tells her the whole story, then tells her that his companion has been arrested. And as much as it should be said, the math teacher can’t believe that Dimitri could lie like that, especially since they always had a relationship based on trust. When she tries to figure out what will happen to her now, Becker reveals that she will be charged and face jail time for extortion. Kick for Sabin.

A few hours later, Janet doesn’t notice that her husband isn’t particularly surprised by what just happened. However, Becker is really shocked especially by what he did to his daughter. After figuring out the character for some time, he finally tells his wife that Dimitri is a coward and an opportunist, until she finds out that he is a scumbag with no moral worth. Even if Janet understands his anger, she still wonders if there might be something else behind it all. Becker insists there is nothing else, but Janet doesn’t believe him.
