Understand what carbon credits are

Trees have the ability to remove CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis, turning it into carbon

OR carbon credit functions as a bargaining chip aiming to do so offset the amount of greenhouse gasesmainly carbon dioxide (CO2) released into the atmosphere by human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels and other industrial practices.

Trees have the ability to remove CO2 from the atmosphere photosynthesistransforming it into carbon, which constitutes the entire structure of the tree, such as in the wood of the branches, trunks and roots.

Through carbon credits it is possible for companies willing to offset their emissions to support targeted tree planting projects removal of CO2 from the atmospherewhich collaborates in the mitigation of the negative impacts of global warming, as well as presenting an opportunity to support rural producers and family farmers who can participate in such projects.
