The new Spanish series from Netflix, Corpo em Chamas, arrives on the platform on September 8 and stars Úrsula Corberó, from La Casa de Papel.
With Ursula Corberó, the Tokyo of The Paper House — as protagonist and Jorge Torregrossa (Elite) as director, the thriller series Body on fire comes to Netflix to the September 8th promising many hot and mysterious scenes.

The plot begins by showing the police officer Pedro (José Manuel Poga, Gandía de The Paper House) dead and charred in the trunk of a car. The main suspects point to her girlfriend Rosa (Corberó) and her alleged lover Albert (Quim Gutiérrez) – although Rosa denies having any involvement with the boy.
From there on, a thrilling hunt begins to find out if they are the real culprits of the crime, but the more the story progresses, the more absurd developments emerge.
Based on a true story, the series created by Laura Sarmento Pallarés explores human feelings such as guilt, desire and revenge and will also address topics such as toxic relationships, violence and sex scandals.
To bring this story to life, the series also saw the participation of Isak Férriz (unfaithful) and Eva Llorach (who will sing to you).
The story that inspired Body in Flames
The plot of the new Netflix series is inspired by the tragedy Crimen de La Guardia Urbana, which happened in Barcelona in 2017, in which an urban guard, Rosa Pearl, was arrested for killing her colleague and boyfriend Albert López
Rosa’s conviction took place in 2020, with a sentence of 25 years in prison – and now she will talk about it in the documentary The case of Rosa Peral, which also includes interviews with the police and lawyers involved in the case, as well as journalists who covered the crime. The work will also premiere on Netflix in Spain on the 8th.
