“Finally, we will escape from the farm. This time we will have to penetrate.” 23 years after Chicken Run hit theaters, Ginger, Rocky and the gang are returning to Netflix for a sequel called The Nuggets Menace.
The hell of Tweed Farm is over, the heroes now live on Paradise Island. But when baby Molly is born, Ginger and Rocky will have to leave their comfortable lives to return to the human world and save their fellow villagers from intensive farming.
For this new adventure, director Sam Fell has revealed that the main inspiration for this second opus will be James Bond, and you only have to watch the trailer to find out.
The distribution of the original votes is quite different. Enter Mel Gibson as Rock and Julia Savalha as Ginger. Zachary Levy and Thandiwe Newton will portray the duo this time. The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey voices Molly. As for Imelda Sonton, she will return to the role of Bunty.
