The actor went to Italy to obtain honorary citizenship
Pope Francis received this Friday (8) the American actor and director Sylvester Stallone, immortalized for his role in the series “Rocky” and “Rambo”.
The meeting was confirmed by the Vatican Press Office, which however did not disclose the content of the conversation.
Stallone traveled to Italy to receive honorary citizenship of Gioia del Colle, a town in Puglia that was the birthplace of the actor’s father, Frank Stallone.
“I want to thank this city, I will always make it proud,” Stallone said during the tribute, which brought together a crowd in this city of 26,000 last Thursday (7). .
