Netflix: Criticized before release, this series is now #1 on the platform!

We could have played the suspense card and kept the secret to the end. But this week it seems so obvious that One Piece is the most watched series on Netflix that this approach seems completely unnecessary…

The adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s iconic manga made its grand debut on the platform on August 31st. Very quickly appreciated by subscribers, but also by some fans of the original work, One Piece took only a few hours to climb to the top of the list of the most watched series on Netflix.

It should be noted here that One Piece is a hit not only in France and Japan, but all over the world. Thus, the series is represented in the top 10 of 93 countries and takes first place in the ranking, especially in Brazil, Qatar, Germany, Mexico and Morocco.

According to D+8, the series has 18.5 million total views, totaling 140.1 million hours. This, of course, is not an all-time record for the platform, but a great audience that will help renew the series for an additional season.
