As established by Federal Law 8078/90, the health cooperative has a deadline of 20 days to respond to the official document, which requests clarification on the incident.
The executive director of Procon of Porto Alegre, Wambert Di Lorenzo, clarified that the company, once notified, is subject to article 32 of the Consumer Protection Code, which provides a deadline of 20 days to submit its responses. Depending on the outcome of the investigations, Procon may apply the administrative sanctions provided for in Article 56 of the same code, aimed at guaranteeing the protection of consumer rights and the security of their personal data.
