One Piece on Netflix: A huge fake connection to Zoro’s sword has fans howling with laughter

The scene of Luffy (Inaki Godoi), Nami (Emily Rudy) and Zoro escaping from the Marine HQ is unblinking in One Piece Episode 2. The most observant fans actually noticed the false connection (for a few seconds) during the stunt performed by McEnuy.

The translator of Zoro won all the fans and became a favorite of Netflix subscribers in just one week. It must be said that the young green-haired boy has a peculiarity: he fights with three sabers, one of which is in his mouth.

Therefore, it was a real challenge for the Japanese actor to learn the choreography with three swords, who is used to only wielding two katanas. While Mackenzie has taken the time to learn his stunts, it still leads to minor missteps, including this scene where we see him spin to avoid being hit by Captain Morgan.

If we watch the video in slow motion, we can very clearly see the scabbard of his sword being shocked. You shouldn’t be completely surprised by this scene, as the actors don’t train with real equipment to avoid injury. These images did not cause a reaction among those who watched One Piece on Netflix:

Could Zoro’s sword have eaten the same devil fruit as Luffy that gave him the power of elasticity? For this user X, almost certainly:

“Guys, Zoro’s sword is made of plastic.”

“Why did the sword bend like that?!!!”

Obviously, this is neither the first nor the last time that viewers have noticed false connections in a TV series or movie. Already last June, fans saw a connected watch in the first trailer for One Piece. The product has since been scrapped in post-production. But it will be more difficult for Zoro’s sword!
