
Paramount is planning a remake or reboot of the horror “The Legend of the Headless Horseman”.
The studio hired Lindsey Beer to write and direct a new version of the story of the apparition that terrifies the small town of Sleepy Hollow.
She only has one job outside and as a screenwriter: the teen comedy “Sierra Burgess is a Loser” on Netflix. But she is involved in more than a dozen projects, including a prologue to “Cursed Cemetery” at Paramount itself, which will mark her directorial debut.
Originally a short story by Washington Irving published in 1820, the story of Ichabod Crane’s encounter with the Headless Horseman has already produced several film adaptations, from a 1949 Disney cartoon to a 1999 film starring Johnny Depp, not to mention the series. “, which ran for four seasons from 2013 to 2017.
There are still no predictions for the release of the new version of the classic story.
