Kevin Federline may go to court to request increased child support for his two children with Britney Spears. According to information from TMZ, the singer’s ex-husband does not consider the monthly amount of 40,000 dollars fair, since he would be responsible for raising Jayden James and Sean Preston.
Last year it was agreed that the former couple would have 50% custody of the young people, but it turns out that the pop artist has not had contact with the two heirs for some time. The situation would be exhausting for Federline.
Even if Britney’s ex-husband gets a pension increase, the singer will only have to pay her youngest son, 16, as Sean Preston turns 18 in a few weeks. Federline must ask for another 20,000 dollars, related to Jayden James, to satisfy all the needs of the young man.
Lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, who defends the interests of Kevin Federline, has not yet commented on the alleged pension increase.
Family closeness
The singer’s sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, packed their bags in August this year to move to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, and stepmother, Victoria. The change of residence occurred without the young people saying goodbye to their mother.
Kevin Federline reportedly tried to convince his children to see Britney Spears before he left, but didn’t force them to sit with their mother if they weren’t willing to do so. He was however “relieved” that the singer had not questioned the change in court.
Britney Spears hasn’t seen her children in over a year.
