Netflix: New horror series comes from the creator of The Haunting of Hill House, the trailer promises a bloodbath!

It’s early Halloween on Netflix. Following the series The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Minuit Sermons and Midnight Club, the platform opens the curtain on The Fall of the House of Usher, a new creation by Mike Flanagan. It is an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic, for which the show producer finds many of his favorite actors.

The trailer for the eight-episode series is there to reassure us: director Mike Flanagan has lost neither his sense of direction nor his taste for scary images. The Fall of the House of Usher promises to be a family bloodbath that will delight horror and legacy fans.

The story follows the fate of the ruthless Roderick and Madeline Usher, brother and sister, founders of the empire Fortunato Pharmaceuticals, where power, wealth and privilege coexist. But the secrets of the past will resurface when the heirs of the Usher family disappear one after another.

In the cast we find Bruce Greenwood – who replaced Frank Langella, who was fired from the series after accusations of sexual violence on the set – Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, but also Mark Hamill, Mary McDonnell, Kate Siegel, Willia Fitzgerald or T. Nia Miller again.

The Fall of the House of Usher, available October 12 on Netflix.
