Netflix announced an online event on Wednesday (13th) to share news about anime and animation. Called Drop01, the broadcast will take place via the official YouTube streaming channel on September 27, at 1pm.

Capitalizing on the enduring hype of anime adaptations and the wave, the event comes at a great time, as Netflix has a new hit on its platform: A piece.

In addition to standing out among specialized critics, the live-action film achieved 18.5 million views in the first four days of its premiere on August 31st. In the last week, between September 4 and 10, the production recorded over 19.3 million views.

Based on the acclaimed anime and manga work created by Eiichiro Oda, A piece A second season has not yet been confirmed by Netflix. Although it has exceeded streaming expectations, some obstacles still prevent the certainty of a continuation. Read the full article here.
